Organics Management Education
Washington is working to reduce food waste and keep valuable organic materials out of landfills. Through the state's Organics Management Law, more businesses, schools, and organizations are being asked to separate food scraps and other compostable materials to help create healthy soils, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and support a more sustainable future.
To help North Central Washington embrace these changes, Sustainable NCW has created a series of short educational videos that explain what the law means, who it applies to, and practical steps for getting started. Whether you're a business owner, school staff member, facility manager, or simply interested in learning more, these videos provide clear, local guidance on organics management.
