About The Event
This is a discussion course (think book club, but better) with 8 sessions. Buy the book and join us every-other Tuesday on Zoom, from January 11 through April 19 to discuss choices for sustainable living. Click here to get a preview of what the book is like and a sneak peak of the first session.
Register here, then purchase your book here with coupon code "SAVE10" to get $10 off. You can choose an e-book version or pay for shipping for a paperback book that will arrive in 7ish business days. Tip: if you're participating with a friend, order your books together and split the shipping. If you can't afford the book, please email us at hello@sustainablewenatchee.org to take advantage of a few limited scholarships we have.
After you register, you'll recieve an email with details and a Zoom link. Our first meeting will be on Tuesday, January 11th from 7-8:15pm. We respect your time and try not to go past 8:15. We'll meet every-other Tuesday at 7pm until April 19th:

- Feb 22: Water

- April 5: Consumption & Economy
- April 19th: Visions for Sustainability
Groups will be limited to 12 people to ensure everyone has a chance to share their thoughts.
The term “sustainability” is used so freely, it’s difficult to understand what it can mean. At its essence, sustainability embodies hope for a healthy, just and bright future for us all. Choices for Sustainable Living provides participants a powerful opportunity to explore sustainability more deeply and learn its unique meaning from individual, societal and global perspectives. Choices for Sustainable Living helps you discover new ways of living and together, make change more possible and powerful.
This Discussion Course is designed to be much more than a book club; it is designed to be a guide for community building, transformative learning and life-changing action. When you break big issues into bite-sized pieces and talk through them with others, you discover insights and inspiration that are hard to find on your own. We'll learn, together. You build a personal network of shared stories and support that makes it easy to take action. In short, you become part of a community for change.
